Mineral B Pro 24cm
Uncoated carbon steel frying pan finished in beeswax, with a riveted stainless cast-iron handle, made in the Vosges.
Our take
There is no non-stick coating here at all — the cooking surface is raw steel you season yourself with oil, so nothing can scratch off or degrade with age. The cost of that is upkeep: it rusts if you put it away wet and needs re-seasoning periodically. The handle is riveted rather than bolted, so a bent handle means retiring the pan rather than replacing a part.

Broken down per part, because a claim that holds for the body of a product often doesn't hold for its lid or seal. Flags cite EU law, not our opinion.
Body
CARBON STEEL2.5–3mm pressed sheet, beeswax finish, no chemical coatingStructural material, food contact
Plain uncoated steel. It has to be seasoned with oil to build a protective patina and will rust if put away wet — that upkeep is the trade-off for having no non-stick layer that can scratch, degrade or need replacing.

Handle
CAST IRONriveted, stainless, stays cool on the hobStructural material
Iron alloy with high thermal mass and poor conductivity along its length, which is precisely why it is used for pan handles — it stays cool on the hob while the base is hot.
